Girl's Retreat (Steve's Perspective)

Steph is getting excited about Girl's retreat to Tahoe. So am I. I get to spend a few days with the kids, just the 5 of us. No work just home time. I am not sure how Ethan will handle it but as we always learn, they do better than we expect. I have made a personal commitment to create our own fun. We are going to try our best to keep ourselves entertained on the cheap. Maybe a trip to OMSI since we have a pass. Last Girl's retreat I went a little overboard with trips to the movies, the circus and lots of eating out. Steph said "Of course the kids were easy, you did all the stuff I never do.". I'll try to post some of the fun times.

Kylie Graduated From Pre-School

On Wedesday Kylie Graduated from Pre-School. She had a fantastic year! She went to Berry Bright Pre-School with Teacher Jill. She learned all of her letters this year, she can read some words, she knows all her colors, she can count to at least 30, and she had lots of fun with new and old friends. Her favorite part of school was playing with Joelle, Ella, Maddy and Ben. She had a fun field trip to The Children's Museum. She also enjoyed all of the fun days, including silly hair day, pajama day, ladybug day, turtle day and butterfly day. Next year is the next big step....KINDERGARTEN! She is very excited!

Our Talented Jamie

Jamie performed in the talent show at her school today. She played Solfeggio in C Minor by CPE Bach and did an amazing job. Everyone in the family was able to attend except for Jared, he was in school. Grandma and Grandpa were able to come too. Ethan enjoyed walking around the gym while kids were performing their talents, I think he thought they were clapping for him everytime they applauded. Jamie is becoming a very talented piano player, we are very proud of her.
